We gave Joe what I thought would be a difficult job - replacing a non-standard sized door in a wall that's not straight, and the old door had warped because it was so close to the heat of the shower. But he was amazing! New door is solid and cut down to fit, and he even found a handle that matched all the others in the house. Work was done quickly and efficiently, and we were very pleased with the results. We are already talking to Joe about getting him back to do other jobs around the house, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

Shaun is a great tradesman and person to have working in your home. He has just competed a full bathroom renovation and he’s done a spectacular job, it’s a really high quality finish and I love it. I have to say the reviews are spot on.. Shaun was happy to answer all of my (many) questions, and gave advice on how to achieve the finish I wanted in the most sensible way without compromising on style - the choice is of course always yours and he’ll always work to try and make what you want happen, but 9 times out of 10 I ended up following his suggestion on things. 10/10 would recommend!

Daren gave an honest quote which was bang of my regular plumber had said I should be paying for the job, infact it was little less than the maximum he said I should be paying for the job. NB: Other quotes from highly rated people on My Builder came anywhere between £100 and £300 more. Very disappointing experience. I was initially given a price estimate of £90, which any reasonable customer would assume to be a fixed callout price. After the work was completed, I was then informed this was supposedly an hourly rate, resulting in a £210 charge to stop a simple radiator leak. Although I was unhappy with the pricing, I accepted it due to the emergency nature of the job and the fact it was a Saturday callout. The most concerning part, however, was what followed. Because payment was not made within the hour, the operatives returned to my customer’s property and their manner and approach left the customer feeling intimidated and uncomfortable. In my opinion, there was a serious lack of clarity, professionalism, and customer care throughout. I would strongly advise others to ensure all pricing and payment terms are confirmed clearly in writing before using this company.
