Initially told me he could complete radiator fit w/c 24th August, so I accepted his quote. He couldn’t actually do it until first week of September - by which time I was back at work and could only be home by 4:30. Martyn finally came on Friday 4th Sept. He arrived without a full kit of parts, then got annoyed when he diagnosed that my radiator needed an extra joint to attach it securely to the existing pipe work. Unfortunately this was a joint which he “just used the last of on the previous job”. He said it was too late to go to the shops to get the pipe joint now so he would be back another time to complete the job... Never saw him again. Really poor service and very unprofessional. I do not recommend.

I wholly recommend Paige/OwlFix It enough for his work. To begin, he came over to inspect the work before giving a very reasonable quote, he was very informative, knowledgable and kept us in the loop at every stage in the process. Paige was incredibly professional and friendly and got the work done in only a couple of days. I especially appreciated his meticulous attention to detail, he wanted to do everything just right and he did. Everything looks and works great and left the house in an immaculate condition. Paige was attentive to all our concerned, amazing communication skills and made himself reachable at every point - day or night. He went above and beyond when he was required to do extra work to ensure we didn't run into problems in the future, which he did gracefully and to an incredibly high standard. All in all, I am very very happy to have such a hard-working person complete what turned out to be quite a difficult work, I would recommend Paige in a heartbeat! Thanks for all your help!

Leonardo does not have the right knowledge for plumbing jobs. He came to install an expansion vessel and PRV to my boiler as it was losing pressure due to a leak. He stated twice there was no leak from the boiler. Following his job the boiler kept losing pressure, hence nothing changed. After having to wait 10 days for him to come back and investigate the boiler, he could not find the issue saying that it was likely being some air in the radiators. All decent plumbers would know that this won't cause the boiler to lose all of the pressure in 2 days. Still, he bled the radiators and found no air. He left saying no issues in aor around the boiler were found. The following the boiler lost its pressure again. When I notified him, Leonardo replied after 3 days that if I wanted him to come again he would have charged me. Clearly he no longer wants to come as he's got no clue about the cause behind the boiler losing pressure. I feel I have thrown my money down the drain in hiring him.

Very disappointing experience. I was initially given a price estimate of £90, which any reasonable customer would assume to be a fixed callout price. After the work was completed, I was then informed this was supposedly an hourly rate, resulting in a £210 charge to stop a simple radiator leak. Although I was unhappy with the pricing, I accepted it due to the emergency nature of the job and the fact it was a Saturday callout. The most concerning part, however, was what followed. Because payment was not made within the hour, the operatives returned to my customer’s property and their manner and approach left the customer feeling intimidated and uncomfortable. In my opinion, there was a serious lack of clarity, professionalism, and customer care throughout. I would strongly advise others to ensure all pricing and payment terms are confirmed clearly in writing before using this company.
