Our lounge radiator was not heating up. Day one, Richard felt sure that it was the radiator valve or new radiator needed, day two, Richard changed both valves at ends, still didn't work £220, he said expansion tank was faulty so changed that, cleaned magnetic filter and replaced liquid £240 still no heat on lounge radiator, he said floor boards would need to come up in the bedroom above as there must be a blockage, which meant we would need to dismantle built in wardrobe, Richard said to ring him again once we had done this. After he had left our son who has no plumbing experience removed the radiator flushed it out using a hose pipe on the garden, replaced, the radiator and Hey Presto radiator working, job done in a couple of hours. Pity Richard didn't think of that.
