I needed a CH Control engineer - we got one the others were CH plumbers. Jay came up with an innovative Heat Exchanger system for the original single pipe system with a separate control for the 2 pipe system. The improvement has been dramatic. We are still battling with the additional controller/timer which is more modern than we are. he also pointed out that since our old AGA had been removed with its back boiler our 2 coil tank was only heating half the water and that a replacement tank was required - again the difference has been dramatic. An excellent service

Rob was quick to respond and saved me money. He removed the radiator from the wall so that I could put the fridge in place. He then returned the radiator to its original location instead of moving its location or replacing the unit with a smaller one. I intend to be here for a while and the fridge is new so this arrangement made sense with the lack of space in the kitchen. It turns out that there was a damaged valve on the radiator which began leaking during the process of draining the radiator. A previous owner of the house had used tape to mask the problem. It was late in the day and Rob had only originally come by planning to check the job for a quote. He stayed with the job and stopped the leak which will be fixed once he can source a replacement valve as mine pretty much fell to pieces. All in all, really impressed with Rob. I didn't expect to have my fridge in place today and he refused to leave me with a leaky radiator even though it was late in the day and the problem had surprised us both. He also took the time to show me how my boiler works when I asked. The thing is old and I didn't really understand it.

Once arranged, Richard arrived on time replaced our existing thermostat with the new Google Nest Gen 3 model we had sourced ourselves. He had to do a couple of extra adjustments to the wiring as original wiring fell outside of regulations but he got it all up and running fine.
