Tradesperson screenshot in their response below is for when I asked them to come back and remove the used element they installed without my permission. They also never advised replacing the unit until their repairs failed and they wanted to shift blame. After two visits and £566, the problem is now worse than when he started. On the second visit he installed an element that turned out to be used, only disclosing this after installation and without my permission. A new element would have cost the same based on his own previous quotes. It was agreed the timer reinstallation would be included at no charge once resolved. The issue lasted only a couple of weeks before worsening. When I asked him to honour this, he refused until the £100 was paid. He then pushed repeatedly for me to hire him for a full replacement rather than addressing my concerns, and consistently implied I did not understand the work rather than acknowledging any responsibility. I would not recommend.

I wouldn't write a review normally but I feel others should be aware of this. I was wary due to reviews saying he was slow and didn't appear to know what he was talking about. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so accepted the quote and paid the 40% deposit. A bathroom electric radiator fit, involving some chasing of wiring into the wall and a certificate on completion was estimated to take 1-2 days. After 3 separate visits (2.5 days), it was made clear to me that the equipment required to test the circuit (to give certification) needed calibration and would need sending away, there was no time frame given for the return. I had a radiator on the wall, wiring chased, but nothing connected. I followed up twice calls and a text (1st after 2 weeks, then 2 weeks after that) to get a clearer time for a return to finish the job. After the final text message I received nothing for 3 weeks, at this point I could only guess he had abandoned the job. I heard from Donald out of the blue 53 days after the job had started, that he could return to finish. By this time I had had an entire kitchen fitted and the electrician on site finished Donald's work. Completely unprofessional, AVOID.

Kai-Zane replied quickly to my request and was able to come round that week to assess and quote, he explained in detail and showed me what needed to be done which all made sense. On the day he turned up promptly, was very polite and got straight down to it, he completed the work quickly and to a high standard, he had to go and get some extra parts which he included in the bill and also filled in some gaps where pipes were coming into the property and he'd noticed mouse droppings at no extra cost. very pleased with the job and would definitely hire Kai-Zane again
