10 out of 10 service. I found Daren on MyBuilder after my usual Plumber had identified the issue, but due to personal issues was not able to complete. Daren gave an honest quote which was bang of my regular plumber had said I should be paying for the job, infact it was little less than the maximum he said I should be paying for the job. NB: Other quotes from highly rated people on My Builder came anywhere between £100 and £300 more. I wouldn't write a review normally but I feel others should be aware of this. I was wary due to reviews saying he was slow and didn't appear to know what he was talking about. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so accepted the quote and paid the 40% deposit. A bathroom electric radiator fit, involving some chasing of wiring into the wall and a certificate on completion was estimated to take 1-2 days. After 3 separate visits (2.5 days), it was made clear to me that the equipment required to test the circuit (to give certification) needed calibration and would need sending away, there was no time frame given for the return. I had a radiator on the wall, wiring chased, but nothing connected. I followed up twice calls and a text (1st after 2 weeks, then 2 weeks after that) to get a clearer time for a return to finish the job. After the final text message I received nothing for 3 weeks, at this point I could only guess he had abandoned the job. I heard from Donald out of the blue 53 days after the job had started, that he could return to finish. By this time I had had an entire kitchen fitted and the electrician on site finished Donald's work. Completely unprofessional, AVOID.

Earl dealt well with a very difficult situation. While servicing our boiler last night, he identified several dangerous faults in how it had been installed. We looked closely at the installation certificate and I'm appalled to say that it looks like the installation was done by a fake engineer, without a real Gas Safe license. Earl went above and beyond to find us someone who could reinstall the boiler next week, and provided a detailed report which I hope can be used against the original installer. He also installed a carbon monoxide detector. Would highly recommend working with Earl - he knows what he's doing, is passionate about his job and wants to go the extra mile.

Peter fixed the boiler quickly. While other tradesman said I should replace the boiler (at £3000+ cost), Peter immediately understood the problem and fixed it for £80. He was also able to explain the issue so that even I could understand. All tidy and back to normal now, and boiler works fine. Top marks and would definitely again rely on Peter if another issue crops up.
