Tradesperson screenshot in their response below is for when I asked them to come back and remove the used element they installed without my permission. They also never advised replacing the unit until their repairs failed and they wanted to shift blame. After two visits and £566, the problem is now worse than when he started. On the second visit he installed an element that turned out to be used, only disclosing this after installation and without my permission. A new element would have cost the same based on his own previous quotes. It was agreed the timer reinstallation would be included at no charge once resolved. The issue lasted only a couple of weeks before worsening. When I asked him to honour this, he refused until the £100 was paid. He then pushed repeatedly for me to hire him for a full replacement rather than addressing my concerns, and consistently implied I did not understand the work rather than acknowledging any responsibility. I would not recommend.

Initially told me he could complete radiator fit w/c 24th August, so I accepted his quote. He couldn’t actually do it until first week of September - by which time I was back at work and could only be home by 4:30. Martyn finally came on Friday 4th Sept. He arrived without a full kit of parts, then got annoyed when he diagnosed that my radiator needed an extra joint to attach it securely to the existing pipe work. Unfortunately this was a joint which he “just used the last of on the previous job”. He said it was too late to go to the shops to get the pipe joint now so he would be back another time to complete the job... Never saw him again. Really poor service and very unprofessional. I do not recommend.

Algert arrived on time and straight away advised me what he needed to do and promptly got to work. He changed the leaking towel-rail valves, cleaned up and left. All was good, until I went to close the bathroom door when I realised that the new valves stuck out more than the old ones and stopped the door from closing. I contacted Algert and he returned within 10 minutes. He needed to go to the plumbers suppliers to get some 'not-sticky-outy' valves, which when installed, allowed the door to close. Very efficient, professional, tidy, would thoroughly reccommend.
