I would not recommend Metzner flooring, poor communication throughout the process and dropped out the day before coming in to fit our carpet without giving a reason or even options to reschedule. What a waste of time. He was obviously not interested in doing the job.

After a month, I had worst problems than the original one and no communication on how to fix the problems that the trade person caused. Waited for 2 months and gave plenty of time for Luca to respond, but I dont think he is willing to go back and check what the problem was. I have wasted my money and now I have to deal with a bigger problem as well. Please try to avoid his services.

Rahel did not turn up for the job. We cleared our downstairs, packing furniture in our kitchen so Rahel could lay the floor. After he confirmed he would be there early in the morning, I chased him at 10am as he hadn’t arrived. He then said he had car trouble but was getting a rental and would be there by 2pm. At 3pm he said he was on his way and would be there shortly,before he cancelled at 5pm. I asked him to just be straight with me if he couldn’t do the job and he just strung me along for a whole day leaving my young family and I in a terrible mess. He is not reliable and I would not recommend.

This guy is not at all dependable. He came, did the architraves, hanged the door. His work is substandard and not professional. After 2 months, the top hinge on one of the three doors came unstuck, dragging the door out of the frame. I got in touch with this guy and sent pictures to him. He replied once and never again. Keep away from this cowboy. the owner is not a qualify gas safety engineer and yet responded to my post about gas safety certificate and gave me hand written gas safety certificate after checking equipment's in 10 minutes , not only that he fixed leaking sink and he took 2 minutes to fix the leak and within a week the sink is leaking again. total cowboy. I naively paid him on the same day for both the jobs.

Tradesman booked another job due to a misunderstanding and then failed to confirm when he suggested an alternative date. Went AWOL and didn't reply to text. Unreliable and not great at communication. Do not recommend. Used someone else to do the job.

I have a terrible experience. He came to seal the tiles around the bath as it was leaking. He quoted £150 but then he charged me £200 as he said it was a bigger job. After he left the leak was bigger than before. He never came back to fix it and gave stupid excuses and took £200 from me. I had to pay another builder to fix it. DO NOT USE THEM

This individual mislead me saying he would fill gaps between floorboards, even explaining exactly how it would be done. At what he called the end of the job gaps not filled and he claims he was never going to do it but still wants paying. Job has no value to me without gaps filled and I am now going to have to carpet the building. Never hire him but if you decide to make sure every detail is in a written contract, he cannot be trusted at all. Worst experience I have ever had.
