Sean seemed super motivated and engaged when he came around to see the job, sharing with us that 2 people would be coming around the following week. A few days later, we received a message saying there will only be one to come around on Friday which was ok. On Thursday we were notified that the person would not be able to come around and he could now do Monday. (We stayed at home on Friday due to our agreement). When we asked if Monday was going ahead, Sean wrote that there won't be anyone able to do the job now at all as they are engaged in other projects. That's really disappointing customer service and leaves us with a job undone.

He gave a fixed quote then tried to charge more. He never planned the frames down so they stuck out inches past the wall he also only put small hinges on so I asked for the heavy big ones as that was part of his quote not small thin ones he then would only put 2 on each door and now the doors are ripping out of frames as the doors are heavy solid doors and are too heavy for the hinges. Also he hasn’t packed the frames out correctly and I opened one door and the frame came out. Out of the 6 doors and 7 frames all have to have more work done to put right. When he came out to quote he talks the talk and had the right tools but I really wish I had never used him I’m now having to get the job redone. Just wish I had never paid him he has caused more damage and not even done the job properly.

I used the firm's services to build an extension. Darek himself seems to be a hardworking and reliable individual. Problem is - he surrounded himself by some not very professional people, including close family members, who make things much worse for him. The other problem was that most of his team members do not seem to have much loyalty to the firm and are ready to jump to a different job any time. We had a terrible delays with our project and some things we had to completely re-do using 3rd party services. If you can ensure Darek is 100% committed to your job - could be a good project, if not - please await problems (just like I had)...

I cannot believe the terrible job that was done. The doors are all unevenly cut, the locks not fitted correctly or gaps, the doors looked better before the job. The hinges look messily attached. Some handles gaps and not fitted flush. I’ve documented it all. Scratched walls, damaged chunk out of celling ( admitted to that have it in writing) scratched wooden floors. Asked for half the money before they started as presume they have customers that don’t pay them, I’m not surprised. I paid them as I was away and they took a video, not showing me the shoddy work up close, and I got home and was shocked. Harry just said he was pleased with the work and didn’t give a hoot. Quite aggressive actually and very cocky.I’ve lost 2 k and now I have to get them All redone. My only option now is court. I would not recommend them to anybody, total and utter crap, what a waste of time. I’ve had three other carpenters/ builders who have looked in one day and all of them said terrible and have to be redone. Hinges not deep enough so door wonky. Or door cut badly so wonky. There is literally light coming into bathroom from my bedroom because the door is cut that badly. Just sloppy bad workmanship. I can’t believe I’ve had this experience and Harry was so rude and arrogant. If anyone wants to see photos or videos I’m happy to share. I will contact the site and now, get a lawyer and also get someone else to fix the whole thing. But yes my advice would be stay well well away!!!!!

Nathan came round and priced up the work we needed doing, he gave great advice and was very helpful and was very reasonably price. He stripped all the tiles off the wall and replaced with new tiles completing the job to a very high standard. He was very polite and professional and cleaned up after he had finished the work. I cannot fault his workmanship and professionalism, we have already recommended him to a friend and will definitely hire him again in the future.

Muhammad's approach to this job varied greatly from one day to another. On some days he seemed very keen and hard working. On others he seemed rather casual. His time keeping was poor and he rarely arrived at the time he suggested. When initially quoting for the job he stated the quote included scaffoding but having spent a day searching for scaffolding he then carried out the job without it. In the end after spending considerably longer than he initially stated, he did a reasonably good job. Despite paying him immediately and asking for an invoice for my records, I am still waiting.
