Highly recommend Alasdair. He called and we discussed his quote, which was a great price. He then sent the quote through quickly, which I happily accepted. Thankfully he managed to fit us in the following week. Put a screed on the floor then laid herringbone style flooring. He arrived on time and worked right through until after 5. Very tidy, left no mess, very pleasant but most of all his work was to a very high standard. Absolutely no faults at all. Currently recommending to family!!

Didn’t do a very good job. - He didn’t leave proper expansion gap. The timber boards either firmly touch the perimeter wall, or leave a massive gap that even the skirting boards cannot cover. I even provided my own mitre saw but he didn’t use it. - Timber boards are cut too short in the living room and when the skirting board is put back, there is still a 10 mm gap left, which looks awful. - The amount of wastage and off cuts was unreal. I ordered 30% extra and all was used/wasted. I have been left with lots of nearly full boards with only a small corner of each board being used, despite having lots of off cuts which could have been used instead of full boards. -He has damaged nearly all my skirting boards. I hired a painter and he was shocked how damaged the skirting boards were and how poorly they were put back! -He doesn’t vacuum the floor before laying the underlay. I provided a vacuum cleaner and he refused to use it.

We hired At Project to completely rip out and re do the bathroom, no small job! Slawomir were wonderful, turned up every morning when he said he would, always smiling and ready to work. When he left the place was all tied up and he made sure that he was careful of the house decor around. The finished job was done on time, in budget and the attention to detail was spot on. We are quite fussy and he happily put up with our endless questions! Would not hesitate to recommend and in fact have hired him for more work already.
