Everything went very well - from first conversation and meeting, to the completion of the job; with very high quality standards. Very friendly and professional people. Provide us with two quotes which was helpful - we could choose the one the suited us the most. Always willing to provide advised and recommendations. They were always on time, organised, kept disruption to a minimum and work did not overrun. Minor problem arose but were managed and sorted out promptly. Eventually, we were very pleased with the appearance of our living room.

If you are looking for a communicative, honest and professional handyman, Sam is your man. We gave Sam 4 difficult handyman tasks to complete. He was honest to diagnose one and say it was beyond economical repair. He used expert initiative to remedy the other 3 and all are working well. Sam was quick and thorough to communicate from the beginning. He was friendly and polite throughout. He always worked and tried hard to resolve the works we needed. He completed the works for a fair price. We will be using Sam again when we need to and he comes with our high recommendation.

Patrick has been a saviour and a star for us. After building a new kitchen extension we had been left with a slew of jobs by our former building contractor. Patrick has put up floating shelves, fixed a shower screen, solved some damp issues, several other small tasks and also did a beautiful and caring job laying our engineered wood floor. All to a high standard of finish and after either coming round or carefully consulting with us over what we needed and how we would approach it. Vladimir did an amazing job - laying whitewashed engineered oak flooring throughout my flat with lots of tricky weird shaped rooms, cutting down doorways, doors, in-built cupboards etc and skirting throughout. Absolute perfection and I would wholeheartedly recommend Vlad - I was delighted with the work he did, he is extremely skilled and also very hardworking, trustworthy and reliable, and a lovely guy. Orlando and team were absolutely incredible, I can’t recommend them more highly. They built a bookshelf, repaired some tiles around a radiator and painted my hall and wooden stairs, as well as some doors. They did a beautiful and careful job (there was ALOT of prep work needed on the walls prior to painting), were brilliant at communicating, always on time to the nearest minute and generally a 10/10 experience (and I’ve had some bad ones). I was nervous due to them being new to My Builder with only a few reviews, but they provided me with email references, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you Orlando and team! You really were brilliant. 5 stars all round.

Positively, certain aspects of the finishing, particularly tiling, were carried out to a good standard. However, the overall experience was mixed due to significant issues. There were notable challenges during the project involving basic logistics and site management, leading to considerable inconvenience that seemed avoidable. Furthermore, the quality of workmanship was inconsistent; while some parts were good, other areas involving fittings and fixtures showed a lack of attention to detail in the finish, requiring later adjustments. Communication during the process could also be difficult, particularly regarding problem-solving and planning for materials. While we appreciated the parts done well, the project was let down by these inconsistencies and process issues, leading to some ongoing snagging and disappointment.
