Dan contacted me after we were let down badly by another builder. He was very friendly and helpful and understanding of our situation and eager to help us. Knowing speed was of the essence he was very quick to provide a quote and once accepted managed to get some lads round in a few days to start the prep work for our renovation. Dan and the lads quickly set about ripping our very old house apart, they overcame many obstacles that were discovered when working in a house over a 130 years old, but throughout their communications were brilliant and they didn’t do any extra work without fully explaining and consulting us first, when problems were unearthed they explained what the issue was and explained as many different solutions as possible. We also had regular updates from Simone in the office about schedule of works and a weekly invoice detailing the works completed and outstanding amounts. They have completely transformed our house after renovation it from top to bottom and have made an amazing family home which was completed in time and on budget. I would highly recommend them and am trying to work with them on future projects, our house is in Tunbridge Wells and I would be happy for prospective clients to come and see our house if they would like to see Dan and his teams work.

The whole experience with Toby was fantastic. He was professional when he arrived for the quote and the way he advised us on a solution. The reason why I selected T.Wood Carpentry wasn't just their presentation when we met, but they way he conducted himself prior. Booking an appointment along with text/email reminders, also the way the quote was sent to us. It wasn't just a standard email it will cost x,y,z. It was a business email response along with an attached professional looking quote detailing the work to be done - as well as the cost of options of splitting the job if we wanted to. The cost also included a breakdown of labour and material charges. On the day, Toby and his team arrived promptly at 8am and worked solidly until 3pm! You can't fault how hard Toby works! One thing that stood out to me was also good use of H&S when floorboards were being cut outside, so many times you see tradesman cutting corners! When the job was complete, they tidied up and hovered (even the stairs carpet which was being taken up that afternoon!) The workman ship was fantastic, honestly I will not hesitate in using Toby again for my carpentry needs. It was reassuring that Toby said, if there were any problems he would come back round - even though he said there shouldn't be any now! The invoice arrived promptly, and again this was professional. It was clearly broken down, along with clear proof of purchase for additional insulation! Thank you Toby for sorting the squeaky floorboards out!

Meredith was timely, efficient, communicative before any changes giving reasons and options for better outcomes. He was also very precise with tricky bits of laying our flooring and the end result is stunning. He has knowledge about our washer dryer needed regards access to a filter, something out recent kitchen installation/installer did not inform us about. We were grateful for the advice as well as the wonderful job he did laying our floor. Meredith was tidy, sweeping up and leaving areas clean.We are happy to offer other jobs to Meredith in the near futures due to such a positive experience which is due to his skills and provide in his work.
