Hard Flooring- 1 Sep 2026
I WANTED TO LEAVE A MINUS REVIEW BUT THERE IS NONE, THAT IS WHY I HAVE LEFT THE LEAST POSSIBLE SCORE. I PERSONALLY DO NOT THINK THIS GUY CALLED MARCO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT BUILDING AT ALL. HE IS A ROGUE BUILDER. HE SAID HE HAS 25 YEARS BUILDING EXPERIENCE, WHICH IS A LIE. I CALLED HIM TO DO MY FLOORING, KITCHEN CABINET, TOILET. PAINTING, FIXING LEAKS. HE RUINED THE WHOLE HOUSE. 8 MONTHS ON, WE ARE STILL REDOING ALL THE WORKS HE DID, HE JUST SPLASHED SILICONE ON THE UPVC TO FIX A LEAK. THE LEAK CAME THROUGH THE CEILING UNTO THE FLOOR CAUSING A BIG FLOOD IN THE HOUSE. HE IS THE MOST UNTIDY BUILDER. HE SAID HE WAS PAINTING, HE SPLASHED PAINT ALL OVER THE HOUSE, HE KEPT SAYING HE WILL TIDY IT UP AT THE END. UP TILL NOW, 8 MONTHS AFTER, I AM CLEARING THE MESS. ALL THE GROUT HE PUT ON THE TILES CAME OFF THE FIRST TIME I MOPPED THE KITCHEN FLOOR. ALL THE TILES HAVE MARKED PAIINT ON THEM AND IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE THEM BECAUSE THERE IS A LOT OF THEM.

Plumbing- 25 Aug 2018
I was hesitating about leavening feedback for a long time, but in the end decided to do it. I hired Anton for the job and when he came round I unfortunately was very unwell running high fever, so wasn’t entirely with it. Anton didn’t fix the tap but simply found another way I could run water in the bath (which was already there). He charged me £400 for simply showing me how to open another tap. If I were well, there’s no way I would have paid him so much money. Another plumber came round since and fixed the problem for £180. All I can say I’ve felt de-frauded.

Great professional and reliable service from Easy Solution. Waqar called me ASAP and arranged to see my bathroom. He came within 1 hour to see the job and gave me an affordable and good quote. He was available to start work immediately. Waqar also suggested the colour of tiles that would suit the bathroom and made some very good recommendations on where i could purchase them at a decent price. My work was done to a high standards. Tiles are neatly put together with grout and they are looking amazing! I had some many relatives comment on them and i have recommended Waqar to them all as i was so satisfied with his service and professionalism in my property. I will be using him always in future. Thanks.

What practical training or hands-on experience do you have in floor fitting?

Many South London floor fitters complete apprenticeships or training courses such as NVQ Level 2 in Floorcovering Occupations. This involves on-site assessment and practical work covering carpet, vinyl, wood, or laminate flooring installations.

How do you prepare the floor surface before fitting?

A local South London floor fitter should explain how they assess and prepare the subfloor, removing old coverings, cleaning and levelling the surface, and addressing any issues to ensure a smooth, long-lasting flooring installation in your South London property.

Can you share examples of previous floor fitting jobs you’ve done in South London?

Hearing about local work helps you understand a prospective South London floor fitter’s familiarity with different floor types and challenges common in the area, such as moisture control or uneven flooring. Take a look at their MyBuilder profile, as they may have images of their previous works on there.

Will you provide a clear, detailed quote for materials, labour, and any additional costs?

A transparent quote allows you to know exactly what you’re paying for. It’s also useful to ask how a floor fitter in South London will account for any unexpected costs if any issues arise once the work is underway.
