Not professional, extremely rude and threatening on messages. Wouldn’t recommend. I contacted this company for a quote and they visited my property to take measurements. After some time, I decided to complete the work myself and sent a polite message informing them that I would no longer need their services, thanking them for their time and advice. In response, I received a highly aggressive and inappropriate message accusing me of being selfish, unreliable, wasting their time, and referencing “karma” in a threatening manner. The tone and language used were completely unacceptable and not how any business should speak to a customer. I understand that plans can change, and at no point was any work agreed or paid for. However, the way this situation was handled was shocking and unprofessional. I would strongly caution others based on the manner in which I was spoken to. Professionalism and respectful communication are essential, and unfortunately this was not demonstrated here.

We hired Ricardo to do the flooring as well as the painting, as promised he turned up each day on time and did the floor and painting, the issue is the job is not completely finished, the paint needs more coats as well as the detailing is slapdash, the cutting in is poor in many areas. His assistant was very messy and left mess everywhere on outside of the house as well as inside, the assistant damaged our blinds with paint and we received no compensation, the assistant also used our 2 year old daughters princess face flannel to clean his paint brushes and scrub the floor...when confronted about it , he said he never used it even though the flannel smells of turps...again no compensation. The assistant washed the paint in our bath with our brand new shower and now the paint won’t come off the shower head. Ricardo was due to return to complete the works but Once we paid him, He was long gone, he then says his family had covid death so can’t work at present but he is still Working on other projects leaving us high and dry. The stairs are also not finished, this is a shame because Once he got paid he vanished. Our correspondence has been totally ignored so I Spoke to him via private number and he said he will organise someone to finish the job - still waiting. I explained I will have no choice but to leave this feedback .

I booked Roberts Flooring on the basis of a good price, but was slightly worried they were coming from far away. They seemed to be confident that the job would be done in a day, though having had this work done before I was doubtful. The initial booked day was cancelled due to the heatwave, so a new day was arranged. On that day, the gent arrived to sand the floor and took most of the day. I was unsurprised to note that they would need to return and I was clear I had plans of my own. The next day, despite many phone calls, the team arrived 3.5hrs late, clearly dishevelled. I was worried about my plans but they assured me they would be done quickly. Quickly meant no protection to my skirting boards which after the job was completed were covered in scuffs and the wood stain, it also meant they left rubbish in the room, on my doorstep, and broke a garden bannister. For the trouble £50 was taken off the bill, with an invoice clearly knocked up in word. Sadly I would say avoid.
