I am a conscientious, hard working individual who takes great pride in all jobs, big or small. I grew up around floor laying. My father owned a flooring business in Folkestone from 1995-2004 before emigrating to Spain. During the 9 years I worked for the company, I was responsible for all aspects of flooring, from pricing and measuring jobs, to fitting carpet, vinyl, laminate and hardwood flooring and safety flooring. Notable projects were fitting carpet in a french chateau and completing a large hardwood flooring project for 6 houses in Bishop Stortford. After my father closed the business, I went to work for a contract flooring company in Lenham, taking on large contract jobs mostly in London with carpet tiles and safety flooring in offices and shop spaces. In 2006, I moved to China and ended up living and working there for over 17 years. After recently returning to the UK, I am looking for work opportunities that make use of my extensive previous experience and knowledge of flooring. I have to admit that I am out of practice, but will very quickly get up to speed with the job. I have a very strong work ethic, am meticulous with details and never leave a job unfinished or done to an unsatisfactory standard. I would consider myself a strong team player, and a loyal and consistent employee.
