Mihai laid engineered wood flooring in two hallways, patched/retiled where a plumber had damaged tiles in a bathroom, fit a radiator cover and mend an opening in a laminated kitchen tile. Mihai works with integrity and is a multi-skilled worker, he was always punctual, and his standard of work is very good, he always cleared up afterwards. I have no hesitation in recommending Mihai and will be using him in the future

Gaetano fitted me in just before Christmas. He did a superb job on the floors which were in pretty poor shape and they have come out super. Everyone has commented on the floors which now are the highlight of the flat. He is polite, professional excellent attention to detail. I definitely would recommend using GM Flooring.

Could not recommend more highly, the best client service and product I have ever received. This is a father and son team who absolutely shattered expectations - we genuinely consider ourselves so lucky to have found David and his father and couldn't be happier with their service. On the first meeting their expertise was immediately obvious, with just a single walk through of the property being enough for them to identify what we needed and pick up on details that only comes from years and years of practical experience. That set the tone for rest of the relationship, with there being so many instances of them going out of there way with no other intention than to provide the best client outcome possible. Here are just a few examples that show their genuine client care and professionalism: - David was constantly available on WhatsApp or the phone to answer questions or provide advice with almost instant responses. I don't think I've ever experienced better client service in any context. - David and his dad personally ran around London for days trying to find replacement doors that fit the frames, picked up paints from the store, found and purchased appropriate fittings like door stops, light switch covers etc. - these small things were taken care of us with just us needing to approve options they found in store. It was a massive time and stress saver for us. - we were doing this on the fly so evolved our requirements almost constantly throughout the project - these were always accommodated and not only that, with such a positive and helpful attitude that it made our lives so much easier - when retiling the bathroom they informed me they would have to take the cabinets out to tile underneath - I suggested they could tile around it but insisted that it should be done in case we ever wanted to replace the cabinet. They did this at no extra cost to ourselves, just extra work for them which underscores their professionalism. - they gave proactive advice on so many aspects of the project, including the most appropriate paints and floor varnishes, proactively identifying design faults that we were not aware of and remediating them (e.g. very oddly placed light switches), identified a pretty shoddy job of repairing a leak in the loft and future proofed it for us which is again something we would never have been aware of until another leak occurred, they even proactively put a small sliding door into the bathtub panelling (no extra cost) to ensure any future plumbing issues could easily be investigated. - they were unbelievably clean which was such a nice bonus - the property was immaculate at the end of every day, and for me that showed a level of respect for clients and the property that is so hard to find. - measurements - they took care of all of these for us , including tile measurements, blinds, garden edging etc. - it was such a luxury to be able to just be told how much of each needed to be ordered and they were 100% accurate - again such a time and stress saver for us. These are just some examples of our experience, I can honestly say that this is the lever of service we received throughout. With such an amazing service you might think that they would have charged a premium. This was not the case, in fact the opposite, I could easily see another contractor charge 2-3 times what we paid, and it is particularly impressive when you consider the flawless finishing and breadth of work they undertook - the whole house repainted (walls, ceilings, cabinets), the flooring sanded and revarnished plus carpet upstairs taken out and floorboards repaired, painted and varnished, garden landscaped, bathrooms retiling, fireplace retailing, toilets replaced, light switches rewired etc - it was a full makeover. They also achieved all this in 2 weeks - that is no mean feat but is even more impressive when you consider that our requirements were constantly evolving - they took all in their stride and just replanned sequencing of activities to accommodate us. We have since passed David's details onto no less than 5 friends who have all been absolutely delighted, so we've put our recommendation into practice!

I had a complicated table to work with—old teak wood, old style, scary to cut. For "Private creation", there is nothing too tricky. He did not think twice, picked up the table, and after 2 hours, I had my lovely piece of furniture in the shape I wanted! I was convinced it was not possible to change that table. It was my last try before disposing of it. And "Private creation" rescued it for me! Thank you. Fantastic work, I tested the table today, and I love it now.

Dinho did a fantastic job on both our upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. The quality of his work was excellent and he always took pride in making sure everything was completed to a high standard. He also helped us with additional pipework around the house and various handyman jobs, always happy to help and offering practical solutions along the way. Mahdi is fantastic!!!!!!! I hired Mahdi to do my flooring while other builders were in the house doing different jobs. Mahdi reported issues with their work to me, which resulted in me firing them and handing Mahdi the rest of the work as, at that point, I was exhausted. We agreed on what needed to be done and Mahdi did not disappoint! I highly recommend him and from now on, I’ll be using his service. I promise you will not be disappointed! Very happy with Daniel's services: we had floor laid in our 1 bed flat. The highlight for us was how flexible Daniel was: the scope of the work was changing (we discovered additional layer of flooring to remove, the floor delivery was delayed) and Daniel was super flexible with adjusting his schedule and ensuring the job got completed. Very happy with the quality of the floor - we had wooden engineered floor. He also advised on the underlay and beading, which was great as we needed professional advice on both.

I wish I took the negative comments more seriously before hiring Edi for my bathroom but he downplayed them very well, promised a great quality of job plus the pictures on his profile showed jobs properly done so I trusted him. What a mistake! I had exactly the same problems as described in the previous negative feedback. Basic errors with laying the tiles – not only uneven lines but also wrongly cut tiles that left plenty of gaps (he even covered one of the gaps between the wall and floor with a sealant!, others with too thick layers of adhesive or grout, which just look awful). He wasted many tiles unnecessarily too and wasn’t even able to apply the grout correctly; missing many tiles, creating lumps and failing to clean the grout from the tiles after application causing their discolouration! Not to mention plumbing problems – leak that gets fixed only for a couple of hours and then returns. The quality of job is of an amateur, not a professional. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach images to the feedback - I have plenty of them so please contact me before thinking about working with this person. He promised to correct the errors but I'm still waiting for this to be done nearly three weeks after the job was apparently finished. He is also avoiding contact. I hope MyBuilder will take relevant steps. My advice is – spare yourself the unnecessary stress and wasted money and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!
