Great stuff. Six large rooms, floors generally in very poor condition. Not an easy job. Ian and nice team of guys were hardworking, met deadlines, accommodated changes, reasonable price and excellent value. Had a flat warming afterwards and guests wanted to know who'd done such good work! Definitely recommend.

Didn’t do a very good job. - He didn’t leave proper expansion gap. The timber boards either firmly touch the perimeter wall, or leave a massive gap that even the skirting boards cannot cover. I even provided my own mitre saw but he didn’t use it. - Timber boards are cut too short in the living room and when the skirting board is put back, there is still a 10 mm gap left, which looks awful. - The amount of wastage and off cuts was unreal. I ordered 30% extra and all was used/wasted. I have been left with lots of nearly full boards with only a small corner of each board being used, despite having lots of off cuts which could have been used instead of full boards. -He has damaged nearly all my skirting boards. I hired a painter and he was shocked how damaged the skirting boards were and how poorly they were put back! -He doesn’t vacuum the floor before laying the underlay. I provided a vacuum cleaner and he refused to use it.

Great for building his reputation Had come round today to [say what job: “open up the block space in my store”]. He arrived on time, was really polite, and finished the whole job in under an hour. Workmanship is solid, area was left clean, and he explained everything he did. You can tell he knows his trade. Communication was clear from quote to finish, and the price was exactly what we agreed.
