I can't recommend Tony & Kamen enough! We bought a Victorian home & rather than replace the original floors, wanted to restore them - and insulate. I met with many tradespeople before hiring Tony because as soon as he got into the property, he lifted the floor boards to test the humidity. If you are restoring floors you know how important this is! Hiring this company was the best decision - not only is the finish impeccable, Tony and Kamen stayed on schedule. It was a complicated job as well because they had to coordinate with a plumber - who they also recommended. We also had to re-plaster all the walls and Tony was always available to answer questions put forward by the plasterer - he would even respond on the weekends. Finally, he truly respects the nature of Victorian homes and advised us on certain features, like the balustrade. If I could give Tony and Kamen 10 stars I would.

During the quote nothing was too difficult and Iustin had some great ideas. 'You tell me what you want and we'll do it.' Great. Day one they caused a leak into the kitchen. Halfway through day two we ordered work to stop because it was still leaking. It took several calls to Iustin to resolve. The leak caused the extractor fan in the kitchen to drop. They fixed at the end but the lights on it don't work consistently. Attention to detail was zero. Floor not sealed behind cupboard, wobbly plaster, streaks of white paint on blue (and vice versa), chipped paint, and tiles not evenly placed, with roughly cut edges. New flooring laid before finishing the walls, dropping sealant, dust and paint on it. Many things had to be redone or changed - but they generally did redo when asked. A window they put in is lower than agreed and the pebbledash doesn't match. They installed the vanity unit on the wrong wall. No dust sheets were put down over kitchen surfaces when drilling through concrete, covering everything in a thick layer of dust. The project was contracted to finish by 4 September, but took until 15 September. Iustin did apologise for this on the last day. On the last day, Marin threatened us because we wanted to wait until the job was finished to send the final payment. At that point we'd paid £500 more in instalments than agreed. Receipts for materials contained items not used or not ours. They took away things that we'd paid for. Overall not a great experience.
