Mohammed and his team did an amazing job installing my LVT floors and beadings. He made sure the floors were laid exactly as I wanted, and I’m delighted with the result. They even removed a wall cabinet so the flooring could be installed neatly underneath. Overall flooring is well laid. However the laminate in the old kitchen area which is concrete slightly dips. Self levelling compound was used in the area where the wall was taken down so the compound could have beem extended or plywood put underneath to alleviate any dips. A long spirit level would have picked up the need to put self levelling compound in areas where necessary. Its a small area in the overall flooring but its a high traffic area and over time it may be affected. I communicated with the fitter that I wanted the flooring levelled so I would expect all areas to be level. The flooring was complicated in a small area so it should have been at least two persons doing the installation. I used a well known company for another room which is smaller and they had 3 persons doing the flooring which is better for the fitter and customer.

There were lots of awkward places that needed plastering after a renovation - where a wall had been removed, two different depths of plaster to be connected, ceiling, doorways, loft hatch, where tiles had been removed, plus architraves round them all. I was very pleased with Igor’s work on the flooring and under floor heating, so decided to ask Raimundas to quote for a large bathroom, hallway, fitted kitchen, rewiring of all electrics and flooring throughout the rest of the flat. Due to work and my partner living overseas, I needed to trust somebody for a long length of time with my keys and my property. I was able to have a lot of the work done while not in the country, communicating with pictures, videos etc. Obviously this was important for me and made having the work done easier. There were also many problems with the kitchen delivery and other things that didn’t go according to plan. Raimundas was patient and polite at all times, even though it was sometimes rather frustrating. I highly recommend his services, and would definitely consider RR Construction for the next job
