Originally hired Igor and his team to replace the flooring in my flat, but I've ended up hiring them to do a complete rewire, replacing the doors, floors, skirting boards and hearth tiles. Igor provided a very precise quote which he stuck to, and any additional things that had to be done (only a couple) were communicated promptly. There were a couple of delays but communication was great and the work was completed to a high standard. Very happy with my newly renovated flat and will be hiring Igor and his team to eventually replace my kitchen and bathroom further down the line as well! Thanks Igor!

Painting & Decorating- 3 May 2026
Optimal finishes painted externally the white part around the windows in the facade after I replaced them. They did a beautiful job and I would recommend them. They also alerted me of the window sill needing more extensive work and it resulted in an additional job and cost so it was done properly. Laslty, only issue is that they had to cut some branches of an olive tree for the decoration and the issue of disposing these came up. In the end they put everything in bags so I could go to the property and take them to the recycling place close to where I live which meant half my Sunday was gone but at least there was a solution. If I was living in the property this wouldn't be an issue but when you have very little time and a property is away it was an inconvenience. I can't fault Optimal finishes though and would recommend them.

Complete redecoration of two rooms - one dining room, one childs bedroom. Simon finished both rooms to a very high quality. He was prompt, efficient and very hard working. He worked full days and cleared up at the end of the day so the house was not dusty or dirty each day. He was very professional and reliable and his rates were very reasonable We currently plan to rehire him to complete our house decoration and would happily recommend him to others.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 12 Jun 2026
Hired to finish off a complete flat renovation - work mainly consisted of painting, some remedial repair work, light carpentry and a snagging list. Whilst Raj and his guy were great at light repairs, handyman and carpentry work (which is the only reason I’m even rating them with stars), their attention to detail and completion of the snagging list was very poor! Despite having discussions with me to rectify things after I showed him examples, the flat is now left with uneven paint edges, drip marks, uneven grouting, unpainted architraves and sloppy silicone work. Whilst they are good at some things, decorating is definitely not one of them, so it’s a shame and disappointing.

Ed responded quickly to our request, quoted and did the work within 3 days. He arrived really punctually on the morning of the job, in fact a few minutes early, and worked thoroughly and professionally until the task was complete. The laminate had been laid just a few weeks earlier by another contractor who did a terrible job and Ed had to tear up the floor and start again. Tradesmen are sometimes reluctant to rectify shoddy work by others in the business, but Ed enthusiastically offered to do it. The finish was to a very high standard and completely to our satisfaction. We would wholeheartedly recommend him.
