We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

I was hesitating about leavening feedback for a long time, but in the end decided to do it. I hired Anton for the job and when he came round I unfortunately was very unwell running high fever, so wasn’t entirely with it. Anton didn’t fix the tap but simply found another way I could run water in the bath (which was already there). He charged me £400 for simply showing me how to open another tap. If I were well, there’s no way I would have paid him so much money. Another plumber came round since and fixed the problem for £180. All I can say I’ve felt de-frauded.

Tom and his colleague Konrad were fantastic They came round 3 times prior to undertaking the work to discuss exactly what we wanted To achieve and meticulously planned it out. They were prompt on the delivery of the work and even came back twice after to ensure the painting was perfect. On top of this they are both absolutely top guys who were easy to get on with and very transparent regarding costs We’ve already booked additional work and would highly recommend these guys to friends and family. We chose to hire Kheireddine after speaking to many flooring specialist, and we're glad that we made the right choice. I tried to do the job myself & messed it up. Then Kheireddine came to our rescue. He listened to us & advised through his experience. He did take time to do the prep work (protecting existing furniture, hangings). He did carefully assessed the floor condition before starting work. The process involved many more stages than I thought, and he did explain all stages and what does it actually mean. Unlike other builder/professional he wasn't in rush. He took his time to make sure the job is deliver to the perfection. He also distributed work in phases to let the oil dry. My children stepped on some portion leaving some marks, which he happily cleared next day. He gave us multiple different choices to make our mind as we weren't sure which will be suitable for our room. He used top quality stuff (oil, varnish, polish) which are expensive than normal. He listened to all our concerns & made sure all were resolved to our satisfaction. He made sure the job is completed within the time frame he promised. He also advised us on post care for the floor and leave some oil for us in case we need it. Kheireddine was very friendly & professional. We're very happy with the outcome and glad that we hired him through mybuilder. I do highly highly recommend him.
