We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

Seemed knowledgeable but did not get rid of any damp despite spending lots of money with him. Also gave him a kitchen job which he botched and asked for 2.5k more than he quoted. Made lots of basic mistakes when decorating. Nice gent but would only recommend his carpentry work.

They explained all our options and helped us decide which was going to be right for us without being at all pushy. Ihor and team did a great job laying the laminate floors and installing beading around tricky corners. Nice steps and edges too. I was also able to hire them for some electrical jobs and connecting washer and dishwasher. Good quality and good attention to details throughout. Punctual, courteous and hard working. Rachid is very efficient, professional and punctual. He replaced our carpet with laminate flooring working straight through the day without a break. He sacrificed his evening to pick up the laminate for us and drop it at our house the day before and returned a separate day to attach a piece of skirting board. Very happy with the result. Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to use again.
