We really liked Art when we met him and were so disappointed that things ended badly. The quality of the paint job was unprofessional in many places: sloppily applied paint, improper preparation, unfinished applications. He kept calling these snags, but the issue was ubiquitous. When I pointed out that he had just painted over nails and fabric on our stairs in places he blamed the material and told me I was welcome to try myself to do better. He became totally irate and told his subcontractor to down tools and leave when I confronted him on a simple painting issue. While he initially said he would include extra painting in the £10k charge he later claimed this was a favour to me and to do it myself. He left me frightened with his anger and mood swings and my partner had to fire him. We were really bummed it ended this way and I debated leaving any review but I feel it unfair to people not to warn them.

Phil of All Builds provided an exemplary service for my project which consisted of leveling all the upstairs floors at a house in SW London. Phil's approach was first class and he offered good solutions and practical advice on the best way to complete all the work. One word to define this 'company' COWBOY builders. Numerous issues one after another. Had to get 2nd/3rd opinion on their work to make sure I wasn't being fobbed off. Conducted loads of research which meant left being uneasy especially as a large chunk of payment was made after only 1 day of work when in fact payment was due end of completion. 1- Underestimating material costs 2- Slabs off the walkway coming loose within 2 months of being put down 3- Ignoring attempts of rectifying the flawed job 4- walkway was meant to be clear of grass and strictly shingles but grass/weed still appearing. 5- Forgot to state ground levels would be raised then creating a lie saying I had been told 6- denying and ignoring the obvious Wouldn't trust the reviews being left here and definitely wouldn't use or recommend them to anyone. Have decided to give up on trying to get them to fix their shoddy job and find someone else to fix their mess Correction - you was aware & agreed with mat delivery

Was really impressed with these guys. Helped me order the correct garden door and then went to pick up extra bits when the order didn't turn up correctly, for no extra cost and couldn't have been nicer about it, even though it was a pain for them. Really cheerful and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would use them again, for sure.

I can’t recommend Michael highly enough. He repaired my recently installed engineered wood floor after it had been damaged by a decorator, and the results are outstanding. The damage was very noticeable, but Michael’s skill and attention to detail have made it almost impossible to tell where the repairs were carried out. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took great care throughout the process, explaining what he was doing and ensuring the finish matched the rest of the floor perfectly.
