Ed responded quickly to our request, quoted and did the work within 3 days. He arrived really punctually on the morning of the job, in fact a few minutes early, and worked thoroughly and professionally until the task was complete. The laminate had been laid just a few weeks earlier by another contractor who did a terrible job and Ed had to tear up the floor and start again. Tradesmen are sometimes reluctant to rectify shoddy work by others in the business, but Ed enthusiastically offered to do it. The finish was to a very high standard and completely to our satisfaction. We would wholeheartedly recommend him.

We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

The brief was to construct and install a cabinet in walnut veneer to match an existing vanity unit, including fluted doors to align with the overall design. From the outset, Raul was professional, attentive to detail, and clearly understood the design intent. The quality of workmanship is excellent — the finish, proportions, and detailing are all spot on, and the cabinet integrates perfectly with the rest of the space. Communication throughout was smooth, and the project was delivered within the expected timeframe. Overall, a very reliable and skilled team.
