He explained everything that was required, the options we had and he provided a fair price. I've absolutely no hesitation in recommending Darek. From the start Darek was professional, trustworthy, polite, punctual and highly skilled. His level of detail really passed my expectations as I've used builders before and although their work was good, Darek thinks like a customer and uses his knowledge, experience and skills to deliver a high quality end result. He came round and took measurements and quoted me for the job and didn't even charge me more for a few last minute changes I needed to make to the job. Thank you for an outstanding job on my floors, you've moved to the top of my list for any work I need to be done.

Jay came to price the job after making contact and his communication was clear. We live in a very old house with lots of quirks; he took this into account and saved us a bit of money with the plastering. Plaster was falling off the ceiling and a couple of walls and he inspected the whole room, telling us we were fine to leave two of the walls as they were, as all seemed solid. I imagine he could have told us to have the whole room done, but instead we only had done what was needed. Jay managed to slot us in quickly, completing the work over two half days (allowing the pre-plaster adhesive coat to dry over night), finishing the job on a Saturday morning as a team of two. The price quoted was what we were charged. It's now been about a month since the work was completed, and we're very happy with the results. The room was skimmed nicely and the surface was very smooth. We coated it with Screwfix bare plaster paint before giving it a top coat, and the finish is great. We'll be using him again for future jobs and I have no problems recommending him.

Don't bother! Marcus comes across as a nice man, but is completely incompetent as a plumber. We hired him to run a few new radiators, fit an up stairs shower with shower tray and plumb a new toilet. At least 3 of the radiators were leaking after they left, and it took them around a week to come back to fix them. The shower tray wasn't sealed properly causing the water to come through the ceilings and drip from the lights. Also the toilet has been plumbed so badly the sewerage is coming through the shower tray! Marcus literally never turns up when he says he will. And gives every excuse known to man! One word rogue trader. Look into the reviews your selves. He has done this to many customers.

Dave is very fairly priced, he is punctual being on time every day, he is tidy, he works hard and steady, he is flexible and listens. Dave fitted custom made wardrobes, fit doors, installed a kitchen, skirting,oak flooring, hardwood decking, slats and other joinery. I have employed a number of joiners over the years and wouldn't hesitate to call Dave first if I needed joknery or carpentry jobs completed. Highly recommended
