I wish I took the negative comments more seriously before hiring Edi for my bathroom but he downplayed them very well, promised a great quality of job plus the pictures on his profile showed jobs properly done so I trusted him. What a mistake! I had exactly the same problems as described in the previous negative feedback. Basic errors with laying the tiles – not only uneven lines but also wrongly cut tiles that left plenty of gaps (he even covered one of the gaps between the wall and floor with a sealant!, others with too thick layers of adhesive or grout, which just look awful). He wasted many tiles unnecessarily too and wasn’t even able to apply the grout correctly; missing many tiles, creating lumps and failing to clean the grout from the tiles after application causing their discolouration! Not to mention plumbing problems – leak that gets fixed only for a couple of hours and then returns. The quality of job is of an amateur, not a professional. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach images to the feedback - I have plenty of them so please contact me before thinking about working with this person. He promised to correct the errors but I'm still waiting for this to be done nearly three weeks after the job was apparently finished. He is also avoiding contact. I hope MyBuilder will take relevant steps. My advice is – spare yourself the unnecessary stress and wasted money and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

He was super clean throughout the job and when extra work needed doing putting down new level screed to the floor before laying the new flooring he was able to get the job done to a very high quality. Having the remodeling of our kitchen modified the layout of the whole of first floor wit lots of aspects of the work not being well tought over and left uncompleted by the previous builder, we were in need of a master of precision and patience who could finish and rescue our kitchen. Adrian profile matched all the traits we were looking for and, after a first in-place inspection, the slow building trade period of the year helped in finding a slot in otherwise very busy Adrian's calendar. Adrian arrived punctual and magistrally fixed a big hole in our wooden floor in a very critical and visible area of it where a wall used to be, taking care of its seemless transition to the kitchen floor and remodelling a low partition on the side of the kitchen units that was above it. The job was simply perfect and it contributed to the final look of our floor in a proportion way bigger than its dimension respect the entire project. Adrian is communicative, patiente and he is able to listen and suggest solutions that are actually fully tought over in all their implications, rather than doing the quickest thing and leaving the customer to deal with the followup unforseen (or more often untold) consequences. The attention he put even on a small job like that is the clear trait of a top professional. He did the job living everything clean and tidy. Adrian proved to be a rare find who restored our trust in the trade and we hope to be able to hire him again in the future.

WOOD FLOOR INSTALLATION We are absolutely delighted with the job Mike has done. We were completely ignorant of the different aspects involved in choosing the right product, (meaning those you do not get online) so on our first meetings with Mike we did lots of questions. He was not only able to assist us with all his better knowledge, but also introduced us with one of the best quality wood manufacturers´representative in the UK, whose invaluable advice contributed to the high standard finish we finally got.
