Hired to finish off a complete flat renovation - work mainly consisted of painting, some remedial repair work, light carpentry and a snagging list. Whilst Raj and his guy were great at light repairs, handyman and carpentry work (which is the only reason I’m even rating them with stars), their attention to detail and completion of the snagging list was very poor! Despite having discussions with me to rectify things after I showed him examples, the flat is now left with uneven paint edges, drip marks, uneven grouting, unpainted architraves and sloppy silicone work. Whilst they are good at some things, decorating is definitely not one of them, so it’s a shame and disappointing.

Work carried out was to fit laminated flooring instead of old carpet and Kamil provided sound advice towards all the queries I had prior to work in a timely manner. We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

Giuseppe and his team are top level professionals able to give qualified advice and real expertise. In renovating our art gallery, they showed real old-time mastery from the beginning. They not only helped us study the most suitable solutions for the features of our place both for the flooring and the walls painting, but also showed amazing precision and care in carrying out the whole renovation project by applying the renowned knowledge of Italian master masons. While other builders had cursorily told us that any laminate would be good, the one that Giuseppe and team suggested us was selected by considering both the resistance to the clomping and the desired aesthetic result. Also, they adopted all the special arrangements needed to prevent the wood floor from bulging and lifting. They suggested us the type and the colour for the skirting board, making the gallery even more refined. The works were terminated in the estimated time and the fantastic result in terms of elegance, sophistication and safety has been possible thanks to the reliability and attention to detail of Giuseppe and team. We were so satisfied that we decided to hire them for all the other works needed (ceiling painting, walls painting, positioning of the anti UV film in our windows, enforcement and lifting up of the electrical track for the lighting system). All these works were completed with mastery and are still contributing to fascinate all the visitors at the gallery!

We have had quite a bit of work on our property in the last few years and the final project was to be our bathroom with the focus around a beautiful copper bath which has been sitting in the spare room waiting to be installed for nearly a year. We needed a company that could deliver a very high standard of work at a competitive price. Top building were not only very fair and competitive but wonderfully detailed in their approach both in quoting and their workmanship which is second to none. Vladimir and team understood the project from day one – made a few trips before hand which built the relationship and made myself and my husband very comfortable with our decision to instruct Top Building. What I enjoyed most is that Vladimir made great suggestions and offered money saving advice. Nothing was too much trouble and I really felt the team got behind the project. The knowledge and expertise is of an exceptional level. We had a few odd jobs that needed to be done which the team (Evo and Dimitri) welcomed and efficiently completed. I very much appreciate the patience and flexibility shown by the team and Vladimir’s brilliant way of keeping us informed every step of the way. Bathroom was totally refurbished including new Walls, plastering, electrics, tiling and new boiler. It really has been a pleasure working with the team – I will most certainly be recommending them.
