I'm Tom, the person behind Furze & Fix — a local handyman service based in Furzedown, South London. I've been hands-on with DIY and home improvement projects since studying Design & Technology at school, and over the years that's grown into a genuine passion for building and fixing things properly. I offer a range of general handyman services but my particular strength is joinery — things like decking, shelving, and general woodwork, where I take pride in getting the details right. By trade I'm a chartered engineer with a mechanical engineering degree, so accuracy, proper planning, and doing a job to a high standard aren't optional extras for me — they're second nature. I don't currently take on electrical or plumbing work, but for anything in the carpentry, assembly, or general handyman space, I'd love to help. I'm continuing to build a reputation job by job, so you can expect care, reliability, and a tidy finish every time.
