Great tradesman! Connor was flexible with our start date and was patient with us confirming a start date as we were project managing other works. Upon arrival to the vacant property, Connor immediately noticed a strong gas smell and informed us and was proactive by calling one of his GasSafe friends out (as a favour) to identify the problem. His friend found a Gas leak which would of been detrimental to us if we had laid the flooring down. Because of Connor’s attentiveness and concern this could of been a different story. We are incredibly grateful that he noticed the problem and didn’t ignore it! Otherwise the flooring looks great! And he was very fast and affordable! Thank you Connor!

I have been working as a carpenter in London for 23 years, throughout my time I have undertaken a range of duties from 1st fix (joist work, stud walls, staircase, roof joists), 2nd fix,( hanging doors, locks, ironmongery, Threshold, skirting board, dado rails, architrave, cornicing) minimal amount of joinery, window fitting, kitchen fitting, laying floors, shuttering, hoardings. I'm now based in Stevenage so would like to work locally.

Charles conducted himself very professionally. He was very open to admit he didnt know how to install the type of lock I provided but found a solution which worked perfectly my door. Overall very satified, great fees, i would definitely use his services and 100% recommend.

Anthony did a great job from start to finish. Having had a few quotes, some cheaper, I decided to hire Anthony for the job as his quote was fair, thorough and clear about the process, materials, time needed, I did not get this assurance from some of the cheaper quotes. He listened carefully to what I was looking to do and make some good suggestions to help achieve the look I wanted for my decking. Communication was clear at all times during the job. Once the job started, Anthony was punctual each day, organised and ensured the site was kept clean at all times. I am very happy with the decking and standard of work achieved. I would highly recommend Anthony and AJK Building and would definitely hire him again for any future jobs.

Had a great experience using Tony for my job recently. He had to lift existing laminate and carpet include skirting and replace it with engineered wood and new skirting. Floor was laid perfectly and finished off very well around the corner and edges.A lot of attention to detail and he always ran through things with us to make sure we were happy with his suggestions. Would definitely recommend him and happily use him for other projects.

Multi tradesman with many skills in the building trade but i mainly focus on wooden and laminate flooring, decorating, bathroom fitting and handyman jobs as this is what i enjoy to do. Patio and driveway cleaning, decking refurbishment. 12+ years of experience in painting and decorating and has mainly been high end private jobs by word of mouth and not slap up site or contract work. 6-7 years experience fitting bathrooms, I have worked closely and still do with a qualified plumber and bathroom specialist with 14+ years experience I have a bit of OCD so I am very particular and a perfectionist with my work. I will try to give you the best price possible but I will not be the cheapest on here as I do things properly and doing things properly does take longer! With this type of work, I have found over the years of working with many other tradesmen, you get what you pay for! That being said, I am very reasonable considering my level of work!

Luke was really easy to arrange work with and helped take out a cupboard and make good a few extra walls on top of the job adrvertised. He took a lot of time to make a lot of old walls look great again and to make sure the job was completed to his standard. He also returned quickly to do some final touchups.

Upon arrival, Danny caused a lot of frustration and anger for us because he didn't know you must use boarding between the underfloor heating and the flooring we'd chosen, despite it being on the manufacturer's website. So we spent most of the day frantically contacting other suppliers. He was unable to fit a door because he thought it was the wrong size, but isn't, according to the manufacturer's website. He also led us to believe the underfloor heating didn't require sign-off from an approved electrician, despite it being an absolute must and if we hadn't we'd not be eligible for the product's guarantee. The gaps between the installed flooring are obvious to see. He initially placed the underfloor heating under the fridge and cooker, but said there wasn't enough to cover the rest of the room. He refuses to respond to my messages to complete the job (still waiting for door fitting and skirting boards/beading to be replaced). For your own sanity, don't use this company.

I hired Craig to repair one of my windows and sort out my creaky floorboards upstairs, he was professional, polite and kept me in the loop as I couldn’t be at home myself and I was the customer. I wouldn't recommend Marjan. Although he was a friendly guy there were several things I didn't like. 1) He was not punctual - I later found out that he took on another job. 2) He did not workaround my requirements e.g. he would start the self levelling when the kids would come from school. This meant one afternoon my kids had to spend 3 hours in the garden whilst the self levelling dried. 3) He was not adaptable - he seemed reluctant to do extra work I.e. doing the voltage check on the electric mat so you know it's ok before you lay it down with self levelling. It would have taken 2 minutes. 4) It felt as though he rushed the job and in places the finish is not great, simply because he did not wait for the self levelling or glue to dry. 5) The glue has dried over the LVT and he never cleaned this up. Positives: 1) He trimmed the doors and other wooden panels. 2) Initially he did come back to rectify the poor finish. But I'm noticing more areas now, which he has not fixed
