The carpet fitting itself was ok, but the customer service afterwards was appalling and vile. During the installation, the fitter knocked a photo frame off the wall, smashing it and damaging our staircase as it fell. Accidents happen, but what followed was unacceptable: no apology, no acceptance of responsibility, and no insurance details provided to cover the damage. To make matters worse, they actually tried to blame me for having photo frames on my own wall, as though that somehow justified the damage they caused. It was an astonishing attempt to avoid taking responsibility. I deducted a small amount from the final payment to contribute towards the damage, even though it didn't cover the full cost. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they became rude, confrontational and aggressive. Stay away! Don't make the same mistake!
