I have 30 years experience in construction. I trained with English heritage in restoration , I’ve been involved in traditional house building from the ground up . Now mostly enjoying applying my skills to external projects, I specialise in traditional materials and methods, I really enjoy re purposing materials- with an eye on cutting waste - nothing satisfies like a old stone or flint wall , a York stone patio - and a recycled herringbone brick path ! I have also experience in ironwork - I have collaborated with a blacksmith for many years - creating staircases , railings gates and decorative pieces . I will design projects - I enjoy my clients ideas and feedback - and I’m always happy to work with architects . I’m a keen gardener too with tools and equipment to create and manage planting schemes.
