We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

My journey went like this on my builder. 1st decorator booked to assess the work and didn't show up with no explanation given. The 2nd decorator arrived on time to assess the work and left me feeling doubtful so I declined. The 3rd decorator named Gary arrived on time. Was very attentive and informative around the work what had to be done, touching the walls and ceiling whilst assessing. I was confident that decorator no.3 "Gary" was the person for the job. The morning for the work to start Gary arrived promptly and rearing to go. The work was carried out professionally and Gary took pride in his work and enjoyed admiring his work of art more so pleasing the customer. The work was completed in the time frame Gary set. The walls, skirting, door frame, windowsill and radiators all have the look I envisioned. Gary employed a act of effciency, respect and transparency. I reccommend Gary 100%. Tip Gary cleans up nicely when the work is done.

George has done a great job piecing together a kitchen which a previous builder left in a chaotic mess with parts all over the place, as well as fixing up shower and toilet parts also left by the previous buider in a mess. Absolutely brilliant experience with Fitim and colleague from start to finish. We needed 3 doors including frames installed asap as have a baby due any day. Fitim quickly noticed I had ordered the wrong door sizes (not picked up by other quoters) and helped me source the correct size, even before job was agreed. He remained flexible throughout the work, attending on multiple days when materials arrived in drips and drabs, also managing to install a 4th door with one of the extras we had upon request. Clearly very skilled at his work; our previous builders had left openings that were not straight and he was able to cut and patch seamlessly and the result looks great. We then added extra requests- hanging two more doors, replacing 2 broken spindles on staircase and adding all the hardware to new our kitchen- again completed quickly and skilfully. Both Fitim and his colleague were v polite and courteous, taking time to clean any mess created throughout the day. Highly recommend.
