I have built my own tradtional timber framed house from the ground up and carried out all works in the process. I have also built many shepherds huts for camping and built cabins for use as summer houses, workspace etc. I have also installed my own septic tank systems in France where I have converted a barn to lliving space. Hi im Daniel Mew, originally from the Isle of Wight but now living in Brighton. Im qualified in Joinery and Carpentry and Civil Engineering. Been doing Joinery and Carpentry since school, and now 37, Im well experienced in the trade. I have my own work van and all my own tools, so ready to undertake any job and also happy to travel further outside of Brighton for work. I've done everything from sash window repairs, bespoke media walls and wardrobes, bespoke furniture, kitchens, flat pack assembly, studwork, doors and linings. Carpentry is very satisfying for me to do as a career. Its very rewarding taking someone's ideas and making them a reality especially for bespoke one off products. I have great communication skills, visions and ideas, which is essential to create a good working relationship and deliver the best for the client. I did my Joinery apprenticeship with my Dad, so ever since day one the standard was set high and I maintain that standard even now, even down to cleaning and tidying once a job is complete.
