This is how my jobs were left. 😟 A simple door to be lightly planed was gouged out and the door is totally ruined.see pictures. Shame as he was a very lovely man. But not a carpenter. Loft hatch left so bad decorator cannot fill without filling with plasterboard. Shame such a shame. He took off my door handle to the bathroom and tried to put back on and bored all the screws so my lock on the bathroom does not work any longer. Not a carpenter. Really sad as he was such a lovely man. Would NOT recommend. Unfortunately, not even had the decency to contact me. Shame.

He actually popped back to finish some work - on his own time - to keep the project on track. Ray was also very flexible, and accommodated all my requests. We hired Jamie to take out a window and install a door. He was very polite, gave a good quote and timescales etc. He understood exactly what we wanted, visited a few times before starting to ensure measurements were exact and that small details that we requested were agreed and clear. Before he started we asked him to quote for another job and he completed both within the timescales given, plus he was clear about what would happen on what day, and stuck to it. Nothing was too much trouble, he is very courteous, his workforce too. He's understanding, responsive to contact, and an excellent job done as well as being very clean and tidy. We are already looking to have him do the next works we need to get in the pipeline! We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Came over on short notice which was great. Unfortunately I think he was very rushed and didn't complete the job to a high standard. The floor board he replaced flexed and creaked and upon inspecting it wasn't supported well enough. Nice guy, I reckon I caught him on an off day and sure he could've done better with more time
