Hello, I am Guy, a carpenter based in Worthing. I have been a carpenter for 26 years. Previous to this I was a cabinet maker and furniture restorer. I studied at the London College of Furniture. I have extensive experience in making bespoke fitted furniture (including kitchens and wardrobes), deckings and garden rooms. I also do first and second fix for house interiors. I'm a self employed cabinet maker/joiner and site carpenter. I started at 17 in a workshop in Essex then moved to London in 1986 and worked for Jo Dixon joinery. In that era I worked on several architectural jobs with Kevin McCloud, made a pair of colonial chairs for Jeffrey Archer, a kitchen for Timothy Dalton, and an 11 meter veneered dining table for Mme Schulmberger in Paris, Part of a major £3m refurbishment to her apartment. I now work at my home based workshop in Shoreham.
