While gaining hands-on site experience, he completed a BSc in Building Surveying at Nottingham Trent University. Following graduation, Steven worked for a multi-disciplinary building consultancy in London as a Building Surveyor, Contract Administrator and Project Manager. His portfolio ranged from residential apartment blocks to commercial properties, with particular expertise in the preservation and restoration of historic buildings in Central London.
