Avoid! I wouldn’t recommend W.G builders. I advertised for a wall removal job. When he arrived, I asked him if it would be safe to remove what looked like could be a Load bearing wall (Very reasonable question for most people but not for him) He said he’s not here to give advice and stormed off. Rather than sending a quote as expected later in the evening he sent a message saying he’s not there to give advice and a screenshot showing he was charged £17.50 for the lead & I had waisted his time. An incredibly bizarre experience. He might have been having a bad day but it’s no way to do business.

Adrian replied promptly to my initial request and provided a clear, detailed quote and timeline. Although his price was slightly higher than another estimate, his portfolio and thorough message gave us confidence and set him apart from others. He communicated throughout the run-up, and when a stain decision delayed the first appointment he was understanding and offered to make samples, which he delivered a few days later. On the rearranged date he arrived with all his gear, masked tiles, covered appliances, and worked independently from 10:30 until 16:00 without disruption. He cleaned up, took the rubbish, and left the kitchen tidy. Knowledgeable, patient with our questions, and delivered a brilliant result. Highly recommended for restoring wooden worktops.
