Hi, I’m Tom. I have been doing joinery work for almost 5 years and have my level 2 city and guilds. I specialise in first and second fix joinery, working in the Durham and Teesside area. Previously, I have worked for building company’s starting of in London to get my career underway and that was were I picked up most of my skills such as, pitching roofs, plaster-boarding, boarding floors, stud walls, hanging doors, fitting skirting boards, panelling, laying flooring, fitting kitchens, fencing and many more skills. We are Ivan and Tetiana, a family from Ukraine who have lived in the UK since 2022 and have experience in a variety of construction and related professions. Working together or individually, we can cover the widest range of tasks required on a construction site or in a home renovationing. Our skills range from simple cleaning and gardening to the complete construction of small wooden garden structures. Owning a house with a large plot of land in Ukraine, we were fully capable of maintaining and repairing our property and always preferred to do so without the help of outside professionals. Ivan is well versed in woodworking, wood construction, garden accessory manufacturing (benches, fences, canopies, etc.), plumbing, and electrical work. Tetiana is an avid gardener, florist, and a true fanatic about neatness and cleanliness in both the home and garden. Our common work credo is to always strive to bring each task to the utmost perfection; otherwise, we simply cannot function. And if only we have the appropriate equipment for this, we are ready to undertake and complete any construction/repair/maintenance project for your home or garden from start to finish. I'm a time joiner as my main trade but over time I have learnt other skills in building maintenance. Main skills are joinery but other skills are basic plumbing, basic electric, basic tiling, basic plastering and drainage. One of my favourite things to do and I don't see as a job is flatpack furniture, I don't know why but I just like doing them. I pride myself been able to do a job right the first time, it's not always the case as unexpected things come up but that's what I strive for. I will only take a tadk on if I belive it's something I can do well and not just to make money, so if I feel it's wrong for me and the customer I will be honest and say. I do other things not accocated with my other skills like 3D printing and Laser etching as hobbies.
