Nass is in short a lifesaver. I had been left high and dry by using a couple of unreliable tradesmen on my Loft Conversion. Nass stepped in (came to quote on a Sunday) and started the job soon after. Nass and his team were great, reliable and trustworthy. He did what he said and within the timeframe that he promised. Also he can turn his hand to anything be it tiling, joinery, roofing, painting, plastering and everything was left at an extremely high standard and within budget. Finding workmen in London that are both trustworthy and reliable is extremely difficult. I have already recommended Nass to friends and will be definitely using him again.

Diego came to my house to install coving and skirting boards. He was in for 2.5 days – it felt like a 3 week nightmare. Diego doesn’t use dust sheets, or lay down mats on the floor – and he doesn’t cut the wood outside so your house isn’t absolutely covered in sawdust. By the end of the 2.5 days my house was an absolute mess – caulk and filler smeared all over my slate floors, walls and even front door – and sawdust everywhere – that lovely mixture then had water added to it when Diego decided he would put back my radiators (I told him I would do it) and broke a valve thus flooding my living room. Fortunately nothing is Diego’s fault – the valve broke because it was “wobbly” (it was 3 months old – it was not “wobbly”). And the reason he didn’t put dust sheets or mats down is because he thought he was only doing the coving (ah so the mess from that is fine), and the reason the skirting board sits 5cm (not an exaggeration) from the wall is because the house has funny angles (Diego has no way of measuring the angles because he’s missing half the tools he needs to do the job – he borrowed my electric screwdriver, drill, sandpaper, screws, ladder, rawplugs etc – and has no workbench so was cutting everything on floor). And finally when attempting to tidy the mess at the end of his work – he decided the smart way to get the smeared filler and caulk off my lovely black slate floor would be to sand it. I’m now having to find someone to fix the scratches all over my floor.

We hired Aurelian to finish the job that another tradesman walked out on and where we had a very unpleasant experience - not an easy ask. But really pleased we did. He was empathetic about our situation, flexible and reasonable. He did some tiling, painted two rooms and installed decorative large Victorian-style plaster coving which was a big job involving a lot of patience and sanding, and his attention to detail meant for a lovely finish.
