I recently had two built-in wardrobes installed and, unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing. While I paid the deposit as invoiced, it was already a struggle to get the installation scheduled and completed. Once the job was finished, I paid the remaining balance in full. However, within just a few days, issues began to appear. One of the internal drawers does not function properly, there are visible gaps between the wardrobe and the wall, and the silicone applied has already come apart. Additionally, the wardrobe doors are not aligned when closed, the mirrored doors stick out noticeably compared to the others, which affects both the appearance and finish. It has now been three weeks since I raised these concerns, and I’ve been told there is no availability to return and fix the problems. This is particularly frustrating given that the work has been fully paid for. Overall, I am very disappointed with both the quality of the workmanship and the lack of aftercare.

Stephen responded very promptly to our message and was able to meet with us to discuss the job within a couple of days. The quote was provided shortly after our meeting and work started a couple of weeks later. The job, rotten bay window sill replacement, was of a very high standard. Stephen and his colleague were punctual, communicated throughout the process and very professional. I would recommend highly. Gordon Kinsey has done an excellent job on restoring the exterior of a Grade 2 listed garden house - involving complex decorative brick panels and restoration of the doors and windows - he is prompt and tidy, and his work is of an extremely high quality. Other jobs of a more general building nature have been scheduled in for the new year. We would recommend Mr Kinsey very highly indeed.
