Andrew built a media wall in our living room, including a faux chimney breast, floor-to-ceiling shelving and fitted cabinets. He also extended existing wall panelling in our converted garage where built-in units had previously been removed. The main carpentry work was good and the media wall was built as we had hoped. It feels solid, sturdy and well constructed. However, I was disappointed with the finishing work, particularly in the garage. Part of the agreement was to make the walls ready for decoration after the removal of units and electrical work, but the filling was rough, some filler came loose, and many areas had not been properly sanded. There were also noticeable gaps around the panelling and skirting, which remained untidy even after a return visit. The project was also not left particularly clean, with a significant amount of sawdust and debris remaining, especially in the garage. Overall, good construction work, but the finishing and details fell below expectations.

After speaking to a few tradesmen we engaged Joe to build a bespoke lean to at the side of our house. We had to delay for a few weeks and revise our original plan for a slightly larger structure, but nothing was a problem and Joe completed the work in a week to a high standard. Would recommend Joe he’s punctual, tidy and polite and very good at what he does, we look forward to using him again in the future.

I had a vacant rental property that needed updating and repairs. Martin refurbished the kitchen, supplying and fitting new worktops, doors, end panels and plinths, as well as replacing the splashback tiles, sink and taps. He also supplied and fitted seven internal doors, repaired architrave and boxed in pipework. As I live around two hours away, I trusted Martin with a spare key after our initial meeting. His pricing and payment terms were very reasonable compared to others who wanted large upfront deposits. He worked diligently, finished within an expected timeframe, and always left the property clean and tidy. Martin is clearly very experienced and I was impressed with the quality of his work. Communication was clear throughout and I cannot fault any aspect of dealing with him. Honest, reliable and highly skilled—highly recommended.

Very lovely and professional man indeed! Connor did a great job. I’m so happy with the finished bath panel he fitted. He kept the work area very clean during and after completing the work. Connor was so helpful in communicating alternatives right from the beginning and he took into account my wishes for the job. Ended up being a bit more than what he had expected to come and do, but he did it without complaining. I hired Joe to fit 9 oak doors, a set of double doors and skirting and architrave downstairs. He was very punctual and very tidy. He also helped out and sourced some architrave for me as I didn't quite order enough, he had to do additional work to make it fit but it saved me ordering online and waiting for delivery. Joe is friendly and professional and I would hire him again.
