James quoted for the job and gave what I thought was a very good price. We agreed a date and had to move things slightly which James handled well with very good communication which made things even better. It’s good to find a tradesman who is willing to explain any delay and clarify start time with updates. James and his colleague got stuck in as soon as they arrived, removed and replaced the skirting boards and waited until the new cable could be installed. They routed out the new boards and then upgraded the fireplace trim to a higher grade of oak. They cleaned up after themselves as the job progressed and left our home as it was when they started. I would hire James again for any carpentry work that I have.

Came over on short notice which was great. Unfortunately I think he was very rushed and didn't complete the job to a high standard. The floor board he replaced flexed and creaked and upon inspecting it wasn't supported well enough. Nice guy, I reckon I caught him on an off day and sure he could've done better with more time

Drew did an excellent job oiling all of our internal unfinished oak doors using Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C including pocket and sliding doors. The finish looks fantastic and has really brought out the grain of the oak. We’re extremely happy with the result. Drew also helped fit the door levers, which we really appreciated. Professional, skilled and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Highly recommended.

We hired Jamie to take out a window and install a door. He was very polite, gave a good quote and timescales etc. He understood exactly what we wanted, visited a few times before starting to ensure measurements were exact and that small details that we requested were agreed and clear. Before he started we asked him to quote for another job and he completed both within the timescales given, plus he was clear about what would happen on what day, and stuck to it. Nothing was too much trouble, he is very courteous, his workforce too. He's understanding, responsive to contact, and an excellent job done as well as being very clean and tidy. We are already looking to have him do the next works we need to get in the pipeline! We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Alik is a breath of fresh air, a positive attitude to all of his abundant work ethics. Polite, punctual and precise in all of his work. As well as the new stairway bannisters he revamped all under the stairs with new flush fit push doors and supporting structure. It is such a pleasure to meet a very competent and friendly contractor who definitely enjoys all aspects of his work and meeting people. Paul and his son did an excellent job removing and installing a brand new kitchen. This involved re plastering as well as relocating key appliances in accordance with the new kitchen plan. He also attended to other renovations, levelling a floor, sorting out a leaking toilet and installing a new floor in that room, removing and repairing tiling, and repainting the kitchen. Very pleased with the results which are amazing!
