G.D. Joiners arrived as agreed on the Saturday. In no time at all had built a Stud wall, with rockwool insulation, two layers of acoustic plasterboard. They made quick work of it, clearly good at what they do. done to a good standard. Hasn’t stopped all noise transfer but has made a big noticeable difference. I’m pleased with that. It was a fair price for the work. The negative is that the Skirting board were left cut short on three walls in each room and not joined in corners. grant agreed to come back to rectify this. I did contact Grant a couple of times to arrange this. He did not return.

I recently hired JMK to remove my mouldy bathroom ceiling, replace it, and install a new extractor fan and new lighting. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. He arrived exactly when he said he would, worked efficiently, and kept everything incredibly tidy throughout the job. He cleaned up fully afterwards, leaving no mess behind at all. The plasterer who finished it off was also brilliant. The quality of the work is absolutely perfect — the new ceiling looks flawless, the fan works brilliantly, and the lighting has completely lifted the room. It’s rare to find someone who combines skill, reliability, and professionalism so well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and will definitely use him again for future work.

UNRELIABLE WHEN THINGS GO WRONG. This is the real test of a company. If anything changes and Patrick shows up to fix the problem with his job, I’ll update this review then (May31st) Unfortunately I was let down by this company. I was reassured by Patrick that the weeds that had been removed , together with the covering that was put on top of the soil, they wouldn’t return. ‘Nothing will get through that,’ were his words. Stones were then placed on top where the weeds had been. I trusted Patrick because of the prior fence work but this however wasn’t a true reflection of how he operates. When most of the weeds returned, it was difficult to get in touch with him. When I did , he arranged to come out but then wouldn’t show up. After telling him I contacted My Builder he got in touch with me , but then failed to follow through.I’m really disappointed as I expected better. I paid £1700 to have my weeds removed and stones put down but Patrick is now hiding from the problem.
