I'm a self employed cabinet maker/joiner and site carpenter. I started at 17 in a workshop in Essex then moved to London in 1986 and worked for Jo Dixon joinery. In that era I worked on several architectural jobs with Kevin McCloud, made a pair of colonial chairs for Jeffrey Archer, a kitchen for Timothy Dalton, and an 11 meter veneered dining table for Mme Schulmberger in Paris, Part of a major £3m refurbishment to her apartment. I now work at my home based workshop in Shoreham.

I began on a window fitters firm before moving over to a general building firm that specialised in renovations 3 years later, where I learned the skills of second fix carpentry. I mainly partake in second fix carpentry (doors, floors, skirting and architraves, cupboards) but also have experience in fascia’s and soffits, and gutters.
