Charles and his team installed an artificial lawn in my back garden. It was quite a physical job as they had to remove substantial amount of earth to be able to level the ground. Conversions - General- 29 Dec 2021
We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

We have been working with Derek Borkiewicz (Sebek Construction) on a renovation of a garden flat in Little Venice since last autumn. We needed to completely restore the whole flat, including the garden. This was our second renovation project and by this time we knew what we wanted to do, which mistakes to avoid and what to pretend from a qualified builder. We will never stop saying how lucky we have been to find Derek and his team! Derek is not only a professional builder who is very careful to the smallest of the details. He is not only a very good project manager who is constantly checking the work of his men. Derek is a friend who takes on board a project like it is his own project. He suggested the most convenient and best solutions for any problem we came across during the works. There wasn’t a time when he didn’t know what to do to solve a difficult situation (and there are lots of small and big issues coming up in a renovation work) no matter how complicate they were and how long it took to solve them. His availability and his courtesy are incredible above all in a fast running city like London. This is priceless to us. His hard work can be seen in the wonderful result we reached with this garden flat. If we ever decide to work on another project we won’t think twice about working with Derek once again. In fact, now that we found the perfect man to work with, we are looking forward to finding another renovation project to work on! Monica

Seemed knowledgeable but did not get rid of any damp despite spending lots of money with him. Also gave him a kitchen job which he botched and asked for 2.5k more than he quoted. Made lots of basic mistakes when decorating. Nice gent but would only recommend his carpentry work.

Lana and her partner arrived on time, completed the job as per requirements, cleaned up after them and left the place in a much nicer, usable state. So much so, that I came back looking for them on my builder, a year since the job was originally completed, as I had something else in mind.

A very professionally presented and competitive quote. Reece & Lewis worked hard and realised my idea for the garden deck perfectly. They arrived promptly and worked tirelessly, leaving the site clean and tidy every evening once they had finished for the day. On completion the site was left immaculate, all they left behind was a beautiful deck! I cannot recommend this company enough and will definately use them again.
