Brilliant job. Walk in cupboard with shelving in bedroom and built in cupboard in an alcove in the living room. Derek is meticulous and goes out of his way to ensure a great fit & finish to everything. He turns up on time and stays right on it- no nipping away to be doing other jobs and leaving things half done! He sourced all the materials for the job and left everything neat and tidy. The price for both jobs was very reasonable too. I'd have no problem in recommending DM Carpentry- this guy knows his stuff and is a courteous, efficient hard worker.

As we live next to a lane and our wall was only four and a half feet tall, we always wanted a fence added to the top, to give us the privacy we desired. When we finally got round to posting our requirements, mybuilder.com, made it an easy thing to do. I was able to read about all of the tradesmen and view the work they had carried out. I immediately liked the way Craig talked about his pride in his work and looking at his photos reinforced that. When he came round to discuss the job, I told him that I was very pernickety and like a job well done. He said that he was the same and always strives to do as well as possible. So we agreed that Craig would source materials and give us an estimate of the job. Our fence was 28 metres long and 2 feet (on top of the wall).Craig worked hard and was very meticulous throughout (which pernickety me appreciated!!!) Today the fence is all finished and absolutely solid! Craig had suggested putting bolts through the wall to ensure the fence's solidity in these severe storms we've been having. At first I resisted this, but Craig assured us that it would be the best way to tackle it. He was perfectly correct, of course. We're thrilled to bits with the fence. It is even better than we hoped and all at a very fair price. This summer we'll be lying out there in the sun, hopefully! I heartily recommend Craig and will employ him again, when I can. Please tell everyone about him!!

The Decking Job was Excellently carried out by Oli of Hillfort Contracts Ltd. The OLD Decking was removed on 15th May and the mess cleared up! The New Decking was laid on 16th May, very professionally carried out. A Company I would highly recommend for quality of workmanship.

I had Johnny & Kev here to do a barked play area for my children and a decking area in the garden. I am thoroughly delighted with the work that has been done. They worked extremely hard and arrived first thing each morning. They left the area tidy at the end of each day. But what is most noticeable is the high standard of the work from them. They have transformed a shabby looking piece of garden into a lovely relaxing area for all the family. I would highly recommend J&H Fencing and should I need any further work done in the future it will be Johnny that I contact and would recommend him to anyone. Thanks again for everything! Labour charges: Minimum of £33.75 Charged per day. £22.50 per hour for larger projects (over 1 hour 30 minutes). On-site hours: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm (7.5 hours). Additional charges: Materials are not included in the labour prices. If I need to collect and transport materials, a £20 delivery charge will apply per run. Really poor work. Rehung a door and now the lock doesn't close, he broke a floor tile while fitting the frame and there's a gap in the door surround that you can get a finger in. Asked him to come back and I've been ignored. Absolutely crap, lazy and bad workmanship. Thought he'd took away the old wood but then discovered he'd hid it behind my car! Avoid at all cost!
