Had Tom to fit new units and work tops in our kitchen along with a new gas hob,double oven, microwave and sink. He also fitted a new floor down after placing plywood sheets down first. This was not a straightforward job as not all walls and ceilings were plumb. Tom took his time making sure to speak to us before he had to make any changes. He was professional at all times and easy to chat to, and cleared up after his day. He turned up prompt on the days he was due. We considered his pricing good for the job in question and have recommended him to others.

I was really chuffed to have found Alex on My Builder. I tried to fit as much of my kitchen myself and got to the point where I required assistance to tidy up the fitting of the units and install the worktops. This he achieved to a high standard. Alex is a really nice guy to be around and will get your project to where you need. He is super friendly, which really makes a difference and he helped show me skills along the way. Being passionate about woodwork he came armed with an impressive full spread of precision tools for the job. He quoted a detailed proposal as to what methodology would be required along with all the additional parts included in his quote. He assessed the work I had started and then worked above and beyond to fix up my kitchen to a high standard. I employed Alex for two days and he worked intensely in this period to get the job quoted done in time. His work covered the following: Level one side of pre existing kitchen units cutting out the backs neatly for existing plumbing, install the other side of units and level, cut and install various end panels and adding in additional strength where required, cut, join and install three work tops, cut out for hob and sink. Alex is without doubt added to my list of trusted tradesmen in Bristol who I will come back to should I need another project achieved in the future. Top recommendation from me.

I do like to work with contractors to get the best results and the guys came up with some creative ideas, which I liked. It's good to have an idea of what you want, but sometimes there are challenges or problems that need a creative mind/experience to solve. They worked quickly and efficiently. There were some supply issues with the items for the patio area, which was a shame. However, it didn't matter much. I'd say that attention to detail needs to be worked on as the crazy paving when re-laid wasn't level and neither was the earth/grass. They didn't quibble when I asked for it to be re-done, but there is still a slight dip in the paving and I will have to re-level the soil. This is the difference between a good job and a great job. So overall, a good job. Thank you.
