Graeme is a very highly skilled joiner. LDP pre-finished oak doors fitted perfectly. The plastic coated on-suite door turned out to need the door stops on the frame moved by 4mm as it was wider than the standard 35mm door width. This was done without any fuss as just one of the unforseen problems that occur when replacing doors in old frames. Clears up neatly. Also a polite and frendly workman. Would 100% recommend.

Josh gave me a fixed quote for the job and a clear explanation of how he would do it. He kept it touch at every point, arrived on time and respected my property inside and out. I could not be more pleased with my new bannister. He has done an amazing job, moved furniture back into place and cleared up so well there was nothing left for me to do. Fantastic communication throughout, Steve always kept in touch and was very reliable, he turned up when he said he would. He worked very hard and was very committed to finish our floor. He finished it to a very high standard, his craftsmanship is superb. We are very, very happy with our parquet flooring. On the last day he worked 13 hours to ensure he competed the work. We would definitely recommend him and would have him back for future work. Fantastic job Steve!

Chris of CDM did a very good job on the floor build-up for our ground floor flat conversion: including joists, insulation and damp proofing. Was able to fit us into tight schedule. Completed to spec, on schedule and at a fair price. Would hire again.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience dealing with Don. Initially work seemed fine. Oak treads cut to size and attached well but then Don stained it without using the right technique and left it patchy and completely the wrong colour (compared to our other stained staircase). Don offered no solution or offer to help rectify. Blamed the stain despite proof that if applied correctly it would colour correctly. Since then the stair treads have now also dislodged, all the glue has come loose, the risers have lodged out of place and all the wood has warped. I have contacted Don politely on several occasions, sending pictures of the issues but he continues to ignore us. 2 other carpenters have confirmed Don used the wrong adhesive requiring now a full replacement as the wood warping is irreversible. Avoid Don at all costs would be my recommendation. Don is not a professional tradesman. He has cost us thousands in rectification works, don't make the same mistake we did.
