I will undertake any carpentry work including door hanging, making wardrobes, flooring, fencing, decking and roofing. I also undertake small jobs, fitting window blinds to replacing door locks. I always carry out quality work at a fair price and have references available on request.

I am sorry to say that the work was not completed to a satisfactory standard and we had to get someone else in, to not only tidy up the job, but to repair what had been done. A very disappointing experience. Hard work and courtesy definitely in evidence, but skill lacking.

We are going through a nightmare by hiring paul to install our new kitchen, Just after he completed works problems started. first the drainage problem and then the leakage in the kitchen however he never took the responsibility and charged extra money to come and fix which was some how his responsibility. around 1.5 months ago (just after 7 months of him completed the work the whole kitchen) one of the cabinet fell just because he did not fit that properly to which our lodger got injured and we lost kitchenware worth aprox £600 rather than putting the things right Paul just visited the property once that too in our absence and never took our call. He took the blame initially but then he just emailed us stating that I cant help you as this is not my fault and you can claim on home insurance. now he is not even taking our call and our kitchen is in miserable state from last 2 months. although I will take further action against him but please do not hire him as he can make your life miserable.

Very poor experience, we employed Advance to build a 2 Storey extension unfortunately we had to terminate the contract of the company at first floor joist level due to consistent issues in regards to quality of build, not reading the drawings or spec leading to incorrect materials being used or sub standard materials for the project. Protection of property and general onsite cleanliness including leaving constant food and drink on our property. We had numerous issues with labour being onsite it was a build during winter that comes with its own problems however even good days were consistently missed with no communication from the management. We had to get numerous people out to review the build as it didn’t appear the onsite management understood the basic standards and requirement for the build. Finally after agreement and release of final pay the company refused to pay the scaffolding company for the works done on our property leaving ourselves with the further issue of scaffolding after we had paid. Whilst the company gave a cheap price it was just not worth the subsequent stress and issues caused by Advance construction and their poor onsite management.

Took way too long with poor excuses for not finishing on time. Left no spare tiles and since one on floor has cracked. Cut corners on piping in my loft resulting in my hallway being flooded and costing to be re plastered and re decorated in hall. All because of lazy plumbing in loft. Don’t think he even trades as a builder any more thank goodness. Or this could happen to somebody else. AVOID

I asked for a complete job in my description as I was conscious some trades people do half jobs. Glen did not complete my door as my frame was left cracked and with holes. Despite numerous promises to return to finish the job since February I haven't seen him since. I wouldn't recommend!

He gave a fixed quote then tried to charge more. He never planned the frames down so they stuck out inches past the wall he also only put small hinges on so I asked for the heavy big ones as that was part of his quote not small thin ones he then would only put 2 on each door and now the doors are ripping out of frames as the doors are heavy solid doors and are too heavy for the hinges. Also he hasn’t packed the frames out correctly and I opened one door and the frame came out. Out of the 6 doors and 7 frames all have to have more work done to put right. When he came out to quote he talks the talk and had the right tools but I really wish I had never used him I’m now having to get the job redone. Just wish I had never paid him he has caused more damage and not even done the job properly.

Thought Lee was a trusting guy,the job he did was only half complete having paid up front.Tried ringing and texting him on numerous occasions to no avail, going to have to get someone else in to finish the job, never will pay up front again. Just read your reply, blatant lies,you gave me a price,I accepted.You would not answer any phone calls are text messages,I was not going to put pictures of your shoddy work on, but I feel I have to now because of untruthful reply

I had booked Stephen to carry out a job and had agreed a date and time for him to come round to carry out the works. Following an email exchange the morning of the job, he informed me he wouldn't be in the area until 2 hours after the agreed time. He then didn't show up at all. I have had no communication from him since to either apologise or rearrange the job.
