Oliver has built a brick wall for a raised flower bed and then a longer, small wall to retain extra topsoil and new lawn. I am happy with the walls, they look good and were built quickly even though the weather was very hot. However, I am not too happy about finishing up the work. We have discussed about breaking and removing the extra cement around the walls, which will prohibit grass from growing. I have promptly paid the invoices received from Oliver, even though this work was not carried out. I was repeatedly promised that the work will be finished at a later date, but that never happened.

Tom arrived on time, he did adjust my front door deadlock and fixed my dishwasher front wood door. He did an efficient and excellent job and also charged reasonable price. I would have no hesitation on hiring Tom again, an excellent and reliable worker.

I was so pleased to find Joe on MyBuilder website. He is a lovely guy who knows his trade. We have found him to be a very polite and easy going young man, nothing seems to phase him. We explained to him what we wanted and he has achieved exactly that. His work is of a very standard, we were very impressed. He left no mess whatsoever, cleaning up before he left. I liked Mike so it's a shame to give him a poor review but unfortunately the finish was just not good enough. Some areas were not even close to being watertight. Mike said the materials I chose were inadequate but he recommended PVC cladding and I sent him links before I bought anything. He OK'd all my choices.

I chose Phil of Build-it because of the prompt reply and his quick assessment of the of the work required. He came in with a competitive price and he gave us a positive feeling that he would be able to complete the job on time and to the required standard. Phil and his small team started the job when promised and completed the work within the time they said. All the work done was to a very high standard and they left the job each day clearing up after them selves. I would certainly use them again if the need arises and would recommend them.
